Sole Project launched in March of 2014, under the username “soleproject” on Tumblr, as a body positivity blog that focused on feet. At the time, the content we published was submitted by followers and as our following grew, so did our operations. This resulted in us launching our own website, which enabled us to financially support the models and photographers that regularly contributed content. As we made a name for ourselves and our brand, we began networking with members of the foot fetish community on a variety of social media platforms. We built an infrastructure to streamline follower gain and maximize exposure to select models, in order to better advertise their content. This is what Sole Project will primarily focus on, rather than content production. However, this does not mean we will no longer produce content.

Our growth enabled us to explore different avenues, but it put distance between what we had originally intended to do with the project and what we do now. So, to that end, we’re starting over. We’re circling back, applying what we’ve learned along the way, to put a greater emphasis on body positivity, and moving forward under a new name: More People Barefoot.

Sole Project will continue to advertise models and allow them to sell their content on our website. If you currently have a subscription to a content bundle, you will continue to have access to it until you unsubscribe or your subscription becomes inactive. However, our subscription plans and pricing will be updated. More People Barefoot will focus on interviews with everyday people, barefoot. Short form versions of the interviews will be on YouTube, while full length interviews will be found on Patreon (sfw content) and OF (nsfw content). More People Barefoot content will not be included in a subscription to Sole Project content.

This is not the end of Sole Project, by far. This is just a refocusing. Thank you to all that have supported us through this journey. We’re excited for you to join us in this next chapter.
