Photographers FAQ

 What do I need to do?

1. Fill out this application. soleproject.me/join
2. Make sure we have your preferred email. Upon receipt of your application, we'll send you an invitation to a shared Dropbox folder you'll be using to upload. It will be sent to the email provided in your application. Please note, we will send PayPal payments to this address by default unless otherwise specified.
3. Open your email, find the invitation, and follow the prompts. The invitation will be sent via a Dropbox email (ex. no-reply@dropbox.com). You may need to download the Dropbox app or create a Dropbox account for the folder to be added to your account.

5. Begin uploading. There will be a probationary period where we will evaluate the quality of your content and the consistency of your uploads. During this period, you will be posted on our Photographers page, using your legal name, under probationary status. After your probationary period, you will be listed as active, become eligible for compensation, and your content be advertised on our social media pages and listed on our site.

How do I get models?

Whether you cold approach strangers on the street for on-the-spot shoots or recruit friends for intimate, elaborate shoots, your method is your own.

How many photos/videos do I need to upload?

There is no specific amount. However, we will need all of the (foot related) content you produce during your term as our photographer. We cannot use content from your back catalog unless those models sign our Sole Project Release.pdf form. 

Do all of the models I work with need to sign a release form?

Yes. All of the models you work with during your term will need to sign a release form, unless you recruit them to regularly model for the site. If they agree to model for the site, they will need to sign our Modeling Agreement.pdf. Both of these forms will be found in your Documents folder.

Can I still post/sell on other platforms?

Yes, just make sure that whatever you post/sell is watermarked with our logo and that you tag us in your posts. If you post foot related content without the logo, we will ask you to remove it and repost the watermarked version.

Do I have to pay anything?

No. You keep 100% of what you earn on other platforms and we pay you 90% of what we make selling access to your content. That's 190% total using the same content.  

When and how often do I get paid?

Each time access to your folder is purchased, you’ll be sent 90% via PayPal or Cash App. We also give out monthly dividends from our subscription bundles.

Is there any way I can get more than 90%?

Yes. If you have referred a model to Sole Project, you will get 10% of their sales revenue, every time access to it is sold, for as long as they are active. There is no limit to how many models you can refer.

Will I receive credit for my photos?

Yes. You will be tagged in our social media posts and your content will be labeled on our site as your content.
